It was a really good experience working with Dylan from start to finish. I had my bathroom tub changed to a shower. The quote for the job was reasonable and the project schedule was managed well. Dylan was on site almost everyday to oversee the progress, to keep me informed or to answer questions if I had any. He always responded right away or soon after when I texted him. Dylan has demonstrated that he cares deeply about customer satisfaction. He has a professional, calm and pleasant demeanor which I appreciated as opposed to a hard sell, fast talking personality type...

No job ever goes without hiccups but, when a couple surfaced they were taken care of to my satisfaction and the end result looks great! I love how my shower came out! Bonus! the project came in underbudget due to my material choices.

Justin who worked demolition and installation was the primary worker on the job. He is a hard worker and it is clear he cares about the work he does. He is a sweet and humble young man. He also helped me make decisions on the layout of the tile that turned out better than what I had first imagined. Justin, also responded to my texts in a timely manner.

Overall, I am pleased with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend 618 construction and I would contact Dylan and Justin again if I ever have another project. Before and after pictures Attached.

Dylan and his team were amazing and awesome to work with! They completely remodeled our bathroom and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Everyone was friendly, reliable, highly skilled, and did great work. Dylan was easy to communicate with and made the whole process smooth and painless. Highly recommend these guys and will be using them again on our future projects!

While not the most inexpensive, the bath needed a complete tear out & reconstruction. The fact that it is in a condo with the main plumbing in cement floors and walls made it doubly difficult. Working with Dylan and the subs was a real pleasure. They all did an outstanding job

Dylan and his crew did an excellent job remodeling two of my bathrooms. I really appreciated that Dylan consulted with me daily whether it was to help me make decisions or if a problem (my house is over 80 years old) came up that needed to be resolved.
Next is my kitchen. I can’t wait!

618 Five Star review
Project Scope
We contracted 618 construction to do a complete remodel of our master bedroom, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom with a separate wash closet. Our design goal was cohesive flooring throughout the space with an updated shower that offered more space and safety, as well as additional linen storage.

Bid Process & Scheduling
We received three written quotes as well as two verbal quotes. The vendors who provided the verbal quotes required studio visits and a retainer to finalize the quote. All three written quotes were statistically in the same price range. The quote from 618 Construction was the most thorough and transparent. The material allowances (flooring, tile, vanity, hardware, lighting etc) were clearly stated and reasonable. The other bids were vague around materials cost and options. Additionally, the 618 bid took into account that the space being renovated was 25 years old and subflooring, electrical, and plumbing may need to be updated or brought up to code. There were absolutely no additional costs*, and payment terms were clearly communicated and reasonable.

Demo & Construction
Complete gut of all existing flooring and removal of large garden tub, shower, and vanity, lightening, mirror. They moved plumbing to accommodate a new shower, new lighting, new subfloor to create seamless flooring with no thresholds between rooms. The 'rebuild' is high quality construction and was efficiently done. The new shower tile installation is absolutely beautiful, as well as the floors, new cabinets lightening etc.

Scheduling
This was an extremely well-managed project. Based on previous home renovation projects, we were expecting an 8 week project. This project took 4 weeks and 2 days! The project didn't start until all the materials were onsite, and the subcontractors were scheduled. We could not be happier with the results. Any issues we had were very minor and addressed immediately.

* We were actually under budget, so we were able to add wainscoting in the bedroom and the wash closet.
Note: Post will be updated with pictures when our bedroom furniture arrives.

I am extremely pleased with the process and outcome of Dylan with 618 Construction and his team’s work. The project involved a large renovation of a newly purchased luxury condominium. He was attentive to my needs and consistently responsive. His pricing was competitive, and I would highly recommend him to anyone, including my friends and family. He proved to be trustworthy and a man of high integrity.
